Abstract

921,003. Pallet racks; furniture joints. ACME STEEL CO. June 27, 1961 [June 30, 1960], No. 23186/61. Classes 52 (1) and 52 (2). In a pallet rack, angle plates 34 welded to horizontal beams have studs 37 for engagement with key-hole slots 20 in upright 21 and carry bolts 41 entering holes 22. Arm 42 of the L- shaped bolt 41 rests in slot 47b when the bolt is home. The beams are of welded tubular construction and the heads of studs 47 are placed eccentrically with respect to the shanks (Figs. 6 and 7, not shown).
