A table or like article of furniture with detachable metal legs has square section tubular steel legs 10, each having in one corner apertures 11, 12, secured to the frame by bolts 13 each having a hooked head part 14 to engage the apertures 11, 12 and a screw-threaded shank 16 which passes through an aperture in a corner plate 21 of the table underframe and is secured by a ring-nut 23.
