Abstract

1,248,375. Load handling pallets. CRITTALLHOPE Ltd. 22 May, 1970, No. 24976/70. Heading B8H. A framework to enable loaded pallets to be superimposed comprises angle-iron corner posts 1 each having upper and lower plates 3 to respectively fit beneath a pallet, and support the foot of a superimposed framework and a series of tangs 6 and corresponding locking projections 7 to engage apertures 8, 9 in each end of tie bars 2 extending between the posts. The apertures 8, 9 are horizontally and vertically off-set relative to each other, whereby by reversing the tie bars the framework can be used for pallet of differing sizes e.g. equivalent imperial and metric sizes. Further tangs 4 are provided to abut the upper surface of the pallet.
