Abstract

1388759 Load handling pallets SICOPAL SA 21 Aug 1972 [23 Aug 1971] 38819/72 Heading B8H A thermoplastic load handling pallet comprises three beams 1 and a plurality of crossmembers 2, 2a-2e, 3, 3a, 3b connecting said beams and forming the upper and lower decks of the pallet. The beams are each provided on their upper surface with a series of pairs of studs 7, 7a, to engage in apertures 8, 8a formed in the cross-members and a series of spacers 12 to space the cross-members from each other. Those longitudinal surfaces of the cross member adjacent the studs 7, 7a or the spacer 12 are provided with hooks 9, 9a, 11, 11a to engage co-operating surfaces on the studs and spacers. The lower surfaces of the beams have studs 16, 16a arranged at their mid-point to co-operate with the lower cross-members in a similar way to the upper cross-members and a series of studs 13, 13a, 13b arranged at their ends to engage within recesses (14) (14a), (14b) Fig. 5 (not shown) in the cross-members between the apertures 8, 8a. The beams are provided with apertures 6, 6a to receive the forks of a fork lift device.
