920,657. Revaporizing liquefied gases. ESSO RESEARCH & ENGINEERING CO. Dec. 6, 1960 [March 11, 1960], No. 8637/60. Class 8(2). [Also in Group XIII] Vapour from a liquid mass 2 heated by a steam coil 3 immersed therein, heats and revaporizes a liquefied gas having a boiling point below the freezing point of water and flowing in a coil 4 disposed above the surface of the liquid mass 2. In an example described liquid ethylene at about -150‹F. is heated to about 60‹F. in the coil 4. The heat transfer liquid 2 is preferably a paraffin.
