[Also in Group XXXIII] A container for liquefied gas has a well 7 (as in Fig. 1) or recesses in its base 3 and cover 4 (as at 17 and 18 in Fig. 3) for supporting in a ship's hold at 12 and 13 (see Group XXXIII) in such a manner that the container is free to move under the action of temperature changes. The container is provided with internal stiffeners 5, 6 and struts 14, 15, and a heat insulation covering 9, 16.
