919,800. Road crossings. HERSEY, G. W. Oct. 17, 1960 [Jan. 22, 1960], No. 30360/62. Divided out of 919,354. Class 107. In a two-level roadway crossing the upper road 1 slopes upwardly and the lower road 2 downwardly to the point of intersection to provide head room for the road 2, the road 1 being constructed at one side with a pedestrian bridge 10 which is of shorter span than the raised portion of the road and links footways on opposite sides of the road 2, at least one link road, originating at the lowest level of the intersection, extending alongside the road 1 at the other side thereof. On the same side of the road 1 as the link road 9 but on the opposite side of the road 2 a vehicle loading bay 12 which extends towards the road 2 but is blanked off at 13 before reaching it.
