A kerb block is formed with a longitudinal recess 3 which extends along part of that upper portion 2 of the road facing side 1 of the block which slopes upwardly away from the road. Two reflectors 6 which incline upwardly and towards the road are secured by screws 7 in the end walls of the recess.
