884,318. Traffic guiding borders. PILAAR, J. C. March 18, 1960 [July 24, 1959], No. 9578/60. Class 107. The road facing surface 2 of a traffic guiding border has a cross-sectional profile which is inclined towards the road over the upper part 2a of the surface and is concavely curved to merge with the road 4 over the lower part 2b of the surface. The border is formed of blocks 1 which may be tongued and grooved 5a, 5b to facilitate engagement and interlocking. The surface 6 facing away from the road may also be concavely curved in profile if, e.g. the paved surface 7 accommodates cycle traffic.
