Abstract
918,688. Lift-shaft doors. INVENTIO A.G. Dec. 22, 1960 [Jan. 13, 1960], No. 44055/60. Class 20 (3). [Also in Group XXV] A door, e.g. a liftshaft door, 2 mounted on top and bottom spindles 8, 7, is subjected to torque by a torsion spring 12 secured at the bottom end to the spindle 7 and at the top end to the door frame. The spring is adjustable as to height by a screw clamp 13 held by a nut and bolt 21 (Fig. 4) in a plate 20 secured to the frame and is adjustable as to torque by the angular disposition of an hexagonal portion 16, Fig. 4, in a correspondingly shaped hole in a fixing plate 18, in which it is slidable. The plate 18 is supported on a bolt 19 longitudinally slidable in the plate 20.
