Abstract

917,264. Inductor alternators. GALLO, G. March 13, 1959, No. 8696/59. Class 35. The output winding III of an inductor alternator feeds a load U and battery B across rectifier AC, a series compounding excitation winding I is connected in series with the load, and a shunt excitation winding II is connected through an additional plate R on the rectifier or through an auxiliary rectifier in such a way as to prevent reverse flow of battery current through this winding when the machine is inoperative.
