Abstract

915,147. Combine-harvesters. DRONNINGBORG MASKINFABRIK A.S. June 20, 1961 [June 20, 1960], No. 22228/61. Class 6(3). In a combine-harvester which has a grain tank 5 above the threshing mechanism 4, and a sack-supporting platform 13 next to the thresher, the grain tank and a separator 6 are positioned side-by-side, above both the thresher and the platform. Threshed products from the mechanism 4 are led by an elevator 7 to the separator 6 which has an outlet 10 for trash, two outlets 9, 12 for filling sacks directly, and a third outlet 8 which supplies grain to the tank via a helical conveyer 11. A transverse worm conveyer 14 at the bottom of the tank is extended, outside the tank, by an adjustable worm 15 terminating in a discharge spout 16. The worm-casing is supported by a swivelly-mounted fork 17 passing through a yoke 22 attached to the rail 20 around the platform 13. When out of use the worm 15 and fork 17 can be swung laterally to lie adjacent to the harvester-body.
