[Also in Group XXX] A combine-harvester is provided with a grain-bin in the form of a saddle-tank structure 15 bridging the harvester-body 16, this structure comprising an upper, centre-tank 30 and two side tanks 31, 32, there being means for selectively apportioning the incoming grain between the tanks and for unloading both tanks together. The grain is fed from the separators (not shown) by an endless elevator 26 and is discharged into a tube 55 extending across the centre tank. The tube has two co-axial, collinear, opposite-handed augers 61, 62 within it, separated by a plate 64 which divides the stream between the augers. The whole auger structure is movable laterally in the tube by means of a lever 74 and link 70 to alter the position of the plate 64 relatively to the elevator 26 and thereby to alter the proportion of grain fed to each side-tank 31, 32. The auger-shaft 63 is driven from a lay-shaft 85 through gearing 80 splined on the augershaft to permit lateral adjustment thereof. The tanks are emptied by an inclined screwconveyer 51 which is extended across the body by a horizontal screw 40 emptying the lefthand tank 32.
