Abstract

1,167,113. Combine harvesters. CLAYSON N.V. 13 March, 1968 [3 April, 1967], No. 12164/68. Heading A1F. [Also in Division B8] Grain in the tank 2 of a combine harvester is discharged therefrom by a horizontal screw 1 which moves the grain leftwards and feeds it to inclined screw 8 which discharges it at 10 into a waiting lorry. The casing of screw 8 and the screw itself is made in two parts 6 and 7 so that, when travelling, the part 7 may be detached from part 6 for easy conveyance.
