Abstract

914,405. Clip fasteners. F.T. PRODUCTS Ltd. July 12, 1961 [July 19, 1960], No. 25158/60. Class 44. A fastener particularly for securing a rod or cable to an apertured panel is formed by bending a strip of resilient material so as to have a part 11 formed with an aperture 12 and from which extend arms 13, 14. The arm 13 is bent at 13a and an aperture 15 is formed across the bend. The arm 14 is extended to form a U-shaped loop which engages the aperture in the panel 24 and is held in position by prongs 19. A Bowden cable is pushed or threaded through the aperture 15 until the outer casing butts against the part 11 of the fastener, the inner cable 21 passing through the aperture 12 and being connected to a pivoted lever.
