Abstract

900,858. Clips; cotters. F.T. PRODUCTS Ltd. Feb. 28, 1961 [March 4, 1960; April 4, 1960], Nos. 7839/60 and 11865/60. Classes 44 and 89 (2). A fastener 10 comprises a single strip of resilient material one end portion of which is of approximately W-shape so as to constitute a head 11 having a web 12 and two flanges 13, 14 the other end portion of the strip constituting an arm 15 which is joined to a flange and extends away from the head, there being formed in the arm, an aperture 16, and the flange 13 remote from the arm, a slot 18 running out of a longitudinal edge of the strip and in the other flange 14 either an aperture or a slot 20 also running out of a longitudinal edge of the strip. As shown, the fastener is used to secure, with free pivoting movement, a cranked rod 23 to a plate 25.
