[Also in Group XIV] A support for a camera comprises a frame formed of two substantially parallel limbs joined by a transverse slotted portion carrying a tiltable bracket to which the camera may be secured, one of said limbs being provided with a screw clamp. As shown, one limb 11 is provided with a gripping portion 13 shaped to fit the hand and a screw clamp 14 which can act against one side of any suitable object 30 on the other side of which presses a plate 15 attached to the second limb 12 which carries two lugs 16 acting as bearings for an anchoring screw 17. A right-angled bracket 22, through the horizontal (non-visible) arm of which projects a screw 24, is slidable horizontally by means of a pivot pin 21 engaging slot 20, a wing nut on the threaded pin 21 enabling the bracket to be clamped at any desired angle. A camera is secured on the bracket by means of screw 24 which is equipped with a wing-nut on the underside of the bracket arm for tightening. A pair of wire legs 28 are pivoted at 27, their free ends being bent at right-angles so that when idle they may engage two small holes 29 in the limb 12. The frame may be clamped or held in any orientation, the legs 28, when convenient, being used as a bi-ped.
