Abstract

911,908. Stoppers. GEIGER, A. June 14, 1961 [Feb. 14, 1961], No. 21555/61. Class 125(3). A stopper 1, Fig. 1, for a tablet and like container is provided with an elastic bellowslike tube 6 for retaining the tablets. The stopper and tube are of synthetic resin and the stopper is injection-moulded whilst the tube is flow-moulded, either with a closed or open end 7, and secured to the stopper. The tube may taper conically downwards. In Fig. 3 the tube 17 is formed integrally with the stopper part 16 which is either secured to the top 20 or integral therewith. In a modification the top of the stopper is formed as a cap engaging over a projection on the neck.
