Inside the cap, a rubber ring or other soft resilient cushion b is fitted, and upon the r i n g is placed a sealing -disk c of cork. A disk d of metal may be fitted between the cushion b and the inside of the top of the cap. The rim h of the cap depends well over the mouth of the bottle.
