A cardboard &c. box provided on each of two opposite sides 1, 2 with a portion 3, 4 extending inwardly at right angles thereto, has a suitably shaped portion cut from one of the portions 3, 4 of each corner of the box and into which an upwardly projecting member 17-20 is fitted. Recesses 21-24 receive upstanding portions 5-12 on a lower box. Score lines 25-30 are provided to enable the box to be collapsed. The members 17-20 may be made of wood, cardboard &c. Specifications 744,151 and 799,792 are referred to.
