Abstract
910,663. Hydraulic couplings and converters. VOITH G.m.b.H., J. M. Sept. 15, 1960 [Sept. 19, 1959], No. 31841/60. Class 69 (2). An hydraulic coupling or converter comprises blades 2 mounted on pins 3 parallel to the axis of the converter, each blade being adjustable by a lever 5 having one end 7 rotatably connected to a control ring 4 and the other end movable in a bore or groove 29 in the pin at right-angles to the axis thereof. The levers may be of resilient material to enable the ends 7 to closely fit bolts 8 in the control ring with pretension and to enable the levers to be resiliently connected to the pins. A known arrangement is referred to in which levers are, at one end, secured to the pins of the blades and, at the other end, engage grooves in bolts rotatably connected to a control ring.
