900,577. Linkwork. ROLLS-ROYCE Ltd. Dec. 12, 1960 [Feb. 18, 1960], No. 5818/60. Class 80 (3). [Also in Group XXVII]. A coupling for connecting together two parallel shafts 1, 2, so that they will rotate at exactly the same speed and in the same direction, comprises double ended levers 8, 9 pivotally mounted at their centres on a fixed pivot 7 and connected at their ends to crank-pins 1a 2a by means of connecting-rods 3, 4, 5 and 6. In a modification, shown in Fig. 3, links 14, 15 are pivotally connected to bosses 13a, 16a formed on master connecting-rods 13, 16.
