Abstract
585,128. Switch or point operating mechanism. WILLIAMS, A. WYNN-. Feb. 7, 1945, No. 3128. [Class 104 (i)] In a railway switch or point operating mechanism of the one way lever type, an antifriction element is provided between the operating lever 9 and the toggle lever 2. This toggle lever is pivotally mounted by means of pin 3 and is connected to lever 4 which is supported at its other end in a rocking block 5. The operating lever carries a roller 12 which may be barrel shaped, and is pivoted on a pin 11 which may be secured by straps to the housing 1. The switch blades are operatively connected to the end of lever 2. Specification 399,158 is referred to.
