Abstract
The invention comprises compounds of general formula <FORM:0910062/IV (b)/1> wherein R denotes a hydrogen atom or an acyl radical, R1 and R11 denote alkyl radicals containing 1-5 carbon atoms, which may have straight or branched chains, and X denotes an alkylene radical containing 1-6 carbon atoms in a straight or branched chain, and wherein the aromatic nucleus may be substituted by alkoxy or alkyl groups or by halogen atoms, acid-addition and quaternary ammonium salts thereof, and the preparation thereof by reaction of a -phenyl-a -isopropylglycollic acid or an alkali metal salt thereof with reactive esters of appropriate aminoalcohols. The compounds have anti-Parkinson, spasmolytic and stimulant activity. Specifications 624,016 and 764,060 are referred to.
