Abstract

909,035. Floors; building-blocks. ETABLISSEMENT DIC. Oct. 21, 1958 [Nov. 15, 1957], No. 33610/58. Classes 20 (4) and 87 (1). A floor comprises U-shaped anchoring elements D2, Fig. 1, resting on the top of opposite walls of a building; spaced parallel beam elements each provided by a series of aligned U- shaped members P, Fig .6, to define a trough which is filled with concrete, the members P being formed on each side with supporting faces 41; and floor blocks H, Fig. 7, the height of which are equal to the height of the beam elements, the floor blocks having, on one pair of opposite edges, supporting faces 43 which rest on the faces 41 of the beams, and on the other pair of opposite edges, tongue and groove formations 45, 46 by means of which adjacent blocks H interlock one with another. The trough defined by the anchoring elements D2, and the space between the outer limbs of the elements D2 and the blocks H at the edge of the floor are filled with concrete. Reinforcing rods 34, 39, 47 are provided in the troughs defined by the members D2 and P. The inner limbs of the members D2 are provided with grooves 28 on their external faces for the reception of conduits 58. The conduits are concealed by closing elements E. The walls are formed of interlocking apertured blocks A and corner elements C having channels 21 which are penetrated by concrete from the trough defined by the elements D2. The upper surfaces of the blocks A each have a rib which is engaged by a groove in the lower surface of the elements D2.
