Abstract

1,167,760. Walls. INTERCON RESEARCH. Inc. 28 Dec.. 1967, No. 58882/67. Heading E1B. A wall comprises a series of apertured blocks 13 laid with their longer dimensions vertical and having interlocking tongues and groove 16, 17 in their upper and lower end surfaces, beads 15 of adhesive having a higher tensile strength than the bricks being laid between the courses and no adhesive being applied on the faces 14 between adjacent blocks in a course. The wall is laid on a concrete footing and has a coating of plaster or stucco.
