Abstract
The square 'U' section module has ribbed external faces to accommodate insulating layers. The side walls have a rectangular rib running along the top and bottom horizontal edges, and along the vertical edges. The ribs are of uniform section and the vertical ribs are set inside the edge by a distance equal to their width. The base slab is of a cellular construction filled with insulating material. The square shafts at corner joints may house in situ reinforced concrete columns or beams, the wall cavities being filled in situ with insulating material.
