[Also in Groups V and XIII] A washing-machine comprises a one-piece moulding of synthetic plastic material, e.g. polyvinyl chloride, forming the outer and inner shells, in which is formed an opening 14 through which is introduced material to form polyurethane foam which is foamed in situ to fill the interspace. The one-piece moulding may be formed by sintering, powder-tumbling, spraying, slush moulding or rotational casting.
