Abstract
1,051,697. Moulding refrigerator cabinets &c. BRIDGESTONE TIRE KABUSHIKI KAISHA. July 30, 1963 [July 31, 1962; May 31, 1963 (2)], No. 30056/63. Heading B5A. A heat insulating casing comprises a synthetic resin foam core 4 adhered to a synthetic resin film 2. The resin film is formed on the outer surface of a mould part 1, to which a release agent has previously been applied, by spraying resin powder thereon, or by dipping the mould into bath wherein powdered resin floats. The mould part 1 is then placed in a mould 5, internally covered with mould release agent, and foam forming materials poured into the space between the parts to form the core 4. The inner surface of mould part 5 may be provided with a resin film in place of or in addition to the film on part 1. A reinforcing material may be adhered to the film 2 prior to the introduction of the foam forming material into the mould.
