Abstract

907,756. Valve pulse circuits. ASSOCIATED ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. July 26, 1961 [Aug. 16, 1960], No. 28313/60. Class 40 (6). In a staircase waveform generator of the type in which a small capacitor C1 is charged via a diode D1 and discharged via a diode D2 into a larger capacitor C2, the bias on the output amplifier is controlled by a Zener diode Z so that the steps are of constant value. The diodes may be reversed to provide a falling staircase waveform from the applied square wave.
