Abstract
1495456 Overvoltage protection DUCELLIER & CIE 6 March 1975 [6 March 1974] 9283/75 Heading H2H A supply and overvoltage protection device for apparatus 3, preferably a proximity detector of an ignition device of an I.C. engine, comprises a resistor 1 and Zener 2 in series across a supply and 2 diodes 4, 5, in series with each other and in parallel across the Zener 2. In operation, the apparatus is connected with its supply terminals A, B across the Zener 2, and an input or output terminal connected via resistor 7 to the point C between diodes 4, 5. If there are more input or output terminals of the device, each may be connected to the junction between respective pairs of diodes which are each connected across the Zener diode 2.
