Abstract
903,886. Controllers. ELIN-UNION A.G. FUR ELEKTRISCHE INDUSTRIE. Feb. 2, 1960, No. 3748/60. Class 38 (3). A pilot motor 1 is geared through a slipping clutch to a locking-disc 4, the shaft of which is coupled with a controller for step-by-step actuation thereof, energization of electromagnet 6 withdrawing bolt 5 from a recess in the disc. A switch 9 is adjusted to energize one of the relays 7 or 8 and the electromagnet 6 simultaneously, so that the pilot motor runs in the selected direction and shaft 12 is rotated by spring 11. Lever 13 or 14 then holds the armature of the actuated relay in the raised position until the bolt enters the recess in the locking disc, whereupon the armature of the motor is short-circuited. The bolt 5 may be guided into the recess by means of roller bearings, Fig. 2 (not shown).
