903,860. Weighing apparatus. VERENIGING STATION VOOR NAALDERIJ EN BAKKERIJ. Feb. 22, 1961 [Feb. 25, 1960], No. 6550/61. Class 143. A weighing receptacle 4 is mounted on parallel links 6, each pivoted at one end to the receptacle and at the other end to a base and rotatable in planes parallel to the length of the receptacle, whereby the weight of material added to the receptacle causes it to swing slightly and press a plunger 7 against a flexible diaphragm in a liquid-filled chamber 8, whereby an hydraulic pressure gauge 10, suitably calibrated, gives a direct indication of the weight. Alternatively, the receptacle may be suspended by parallel links. Two rows of hoppers 1 are arranged above the receptacle, into which the granular substance to be weighed may be fed through short flexible conduits 5, under the control of valves 3. The weighed material is discharged through an outlet 14 by a screw 11, or drag chair conveyer driven by a motor 12.
