Abstract

903,492. Nozzles. FERINO, C., and NEVIO, N. Jan. 6, 1961 [Jan. 19, 1960], No. 597/61. Class 69 (3). A discharge nozzle for a coffee machine has lateral flow passages 15, 16 supplied with equal quantities of fluid from a horizontal bore 2, and for this purpose a diaphragm 10 is secured within a tubular holder 11 rotatably received at one end in the bore whereby the diaphragm equally divides the flow to diametricallyopposed bores 13, 14 in the holder which feed the lateral passages. The opposite end of the holder is threaded to the nozzle so that it can be turned about its axis to maintain equal flow conditions despite slight inclinations of the nozzle to the vertical.
