Abstract
903,160. Axial-flow turbine casings. LICENTIA PATENT - VERWALTUNGS - G.m.b.H. Feb. 1, 1961 [Feb. 5, 1960], No. 3797/61. Class 110 (3). An axial-flow turbine comprises a number of coaxial, radially divided axially-adjacent stator blade carriers wherein adjacent carriers are respectively centred by mating internal and external cylindrical surfaces, the joint surfaces of adjacent carriers being staggered and the blade carriers having tightening means drawing the joint surfaces together. Tangential bolts 23 serve as the tightening means and tighten the cylindrical surfaces of rings 11, 13 on to the mating surfaces of the rings 10, 12, respectively. The rings 10, 12 have similar bolts disposed at right-angles to the bolts 23.
