903,056. Bakers' ovens. VERBAND DEUTSCHERK ONSUMGENOSSENSCHAFTEN G.m.b.H. July 17, 1959, No. 24566/59. Class 51 (2). In a continuous bakers' oven heated by known short-wave infra-red radiators 7 disposed above the conveyer 3, the baking chamber is divided by partitions 12 above said conveyer and partitions 13 below, "black" heat radiators 17 are disposed below, and steam pipes 20 fed from generators 19 are disposed above the said conveyer. A cooling spray 21 is disposed over the discharge end and openings 4 and 5 may be opened and closed manually as by flaps or roller shutters. The baking chamber may be lined with reflector plates. The radiators 7, Fig. 4, are set in conical holders 8 in openings in the ceiling 6 closed by insulating caps 9 detachably fixed by means of a screwed ring or other device. The partitions 13 comprise lateral hoppers 15 through which flour, crumbs, &c. fall into receptacles 14.
