901,020. Photographic cameras. HEIDECKE, R., and FRANKE, H., [trading as FRANKE & HEIDECKE, FABRIK PHOTOGR. PRAZISIONS-APPARATE]. Jan. 29, 1959 [March 7, 1958], No. 3163/59. Class 98 (1). [Also in Group XXV] A photo-electric exposure meter is so hinged to a lens hood that it can be swung into the interior of the hood. Preferably, the meter 12 is held in the operative position, pointing in the same direction as the lens hood 7, by the engagement of projection 17 with hair-pin spring catch 18 and is resiliently urged into the interior of the hood on releasing the catch, by spring 19. The hood is attachable to a camera by a bayonet ring 8. The meter 12 may be retained in the interior of the hood 7 by means of a catch. The indicator scale of the exposure meter may be read from above.
