Abstract

1,086,248. Cameras with built-in exposure meters. AGFA A.G. March 25, 1965 [March 26, 1964], No. 12712/65. Heading G2A. A camera with a built-in exposure meter has a lever 6 set by a stop 4 on a film cartridge 3 the stop being positioned in accordance with film sensitivity so as to rotate a galvanometer 11 into a position related to such sensitivity. The galvanometer 11 is connected to a photo-sensitive device, not shown, and has an indicator 12 co-operating with an exposure value scale 13. A shutter speed and diaphragm aperture setting rings 15 and 16 are rotatable on a tube 2 having a scale 18. The ring 15 has a pointer 17, while ring 16 has a pointer 20 co-operating with an exposure value scale 19. The ring 16 is rotated for correct exposure until pointer 20 coincides with the same exposure value as shown by indicator 13. Alternatively, lever 6 may adjust a resistance in the measuring circuit, or an adjustable shutter in front of the photo-sensitive device to compensate for film sensitivity.
