In a photographic camera provided with at least two lenses mounted thereon and a lightresponsive cell connected to a measuring device, the said lenses are so mounted on one or more holders that each lens can be moved between a position for taking a photograph therethrough and a position in the path of light to the light responsive cell. As shown (Fig. 1), lenses 3 and 4 are mounted on a lens carrier 2 rotatable about a screw 5 so that either of the lenses may be brought to a position in front of a photo-cell 13, or the exposure aperture 11 for the film 8. The pointer 15 of the measuring mechanism shown generally at 14, is visible in the view finder 16, and co-operates with indication marks also visible in the view finder. Diaphragm rings 18, 19 have teeth which intermesh in such a manner that adjustment of either one ring causes the other to move in unison. For obtaining approximately correct exposure value setting of the lens in front of the exposure aperture, the diaphragm of the lens in front of the cell 13 is adjusted until indicator 15 registers with said marks in the view finder. Owing to the different focal length of the lenses, a more correct exposure value setting is obtained if the actual lens to be used for the exposure is first moved in front of the cell 13, and the diaphragm adjusted as before. In modifications, more than two lenses may be arranged on the lens carrier, the lenses may be separately mounted on holders independently slidable or pivotable on the camera front, and the lenses may be exchangeably mounted on the holder or holders. Independent diaphragm mechanisms may be provided.
