Abstract

901,005. Aerials. TESLA NARODNI PODNIK. May 5, 1960 [May 18, 1959], No. 15936/60. Class 40 (7). An aerial includes first and second confocal parabolic reflectors, the second reflector being mounted between the apex of the first reflector and the common focus. The second reflector is mounted on the end of a dielectric waveguide 3, which is fitted with a horn radiator 2, this waveguide projecting through the first reflector 1. To enable the aerial to utilize waves polarized in two directions the reflectors are paraboloidal, the horn radiator is conical and the waveguide is circular in cross-section.
