900,336. Supplying liquid fuel to burners. NORDISKA ARMATURFABRIKERNA A.B. Jan. 19, 1961 [Jan. 22, 1960], No. 2264/61. Class 75 (1). A fuel supply system for a rotary burner comprises a fuel receptacle 16 which fills with fuel when an electromagnetic shut-off valve 9 in the supply pipe 10 to the burner is closed. When the burner is again started by opening the shutoff valve 9 the fuel in the receptacle flows along a pipe 15 to supplement for a time the normal flow of fuel to the burner from a float chamber 7 through a regulating valve 13 controlling the inlet end of a fuel conduit 8 connecting the float chamber to the shut-off valve 9. A float valve maintains the fuel in the float chamber 7 at the level 12 and during operation of the burner the fuel is maintained at a level 14 in the conduit 8 and the pipe 15 by the position of the outlet end of the supply pipe 10 and the setting of the regulating valve 13. The rate of flow from the receptacle 16 at starting is controlled by a pin 18 secured to a cover 17 and entering the inlet to the pipe 15. Specification 830,599 is referred to.
