Abstract

899,197. Bearings. KLEIN SCHANZLIN & BECKER A.G. Oct. 2, 1959, No. 33462/59. Class 12 (1). A trust bearing is resiliently mounted in housing portions 12, 13 so that non-rotating rings 8, 9 of the bearing become self-adjustable both axially and radially relatively to the housing. A shaft 1 carries the rotating bearing portion 2 having discs 3, 4 made of carbon or synthetic plastic material, for example, clamped thereto by a ring 5. The discs 3, 4 engage segments 6, 7 which are secured to the non-rotating rings 8, 9 and the latter are clamped to the housing portions 12, 13 having resilient rings 10, 11 positioned therebetween.
