Class 52(3) A folding suspended table comprises a vertical rod a secured to the ceiling or other support b, a table surface formed by two hinged flaps c, c and a receptacle d for the cruet &c. movable on rod a, pegs e being fixed to rod a on which pegs may be hung chairs when the floor is being cleaned. In a modification, Fig. 4 rod a is supported on rails so as to be movable horizontally, wedge-shaped cross bars being insertable into apertures g, h to secure the table in fixed locations.
