Abstract

763,256. Furniture frames and joints. ELLIOTS (NEWARK), Ltd., and McGLOON, W. F. Dec. 22, 1954 [Dec. 24, 1953], No. 35859/53. Class 52 (2). A framework for supporting goods for display or storage is made up of components of two kinds only viz. junctions 1 having vertical sockets 4 and 5 and four side hooked parts 6 and bars 7 the ends of which can be received in the sockets 4 and 5 and are formed with hooks 7a taking over the hooked parts 6. In a modification the hooked parts and hooks are wedge-shaped, the bars 7 are tubular and the hooked parts are formed on end blocks rivetted to the ends of the bars. The framework may support shelving.
