Abstract

The zinc layer of a galvanised article is protected against corrosion by immersing it in an aqueous solution containing 0,7-1,2% w/v of an oxidising compound of hexavalent chromium, 0,005-0,02% v/v sulphuric acid (S.G. 1,84), and 0,02-0,35% v/v wetting agent.
