Abstract

895,875. Endless-belt conveyers. SOC. STEPHANOISE DE CONSTRUCTIONS MECHANIQUES. May 17, 1960 [June 3, 1959; April 22, 1960], No. 17336/60. Class 78 (1). Scraper elements 15 are secured to a central chain 11 by means of links 13 secured by threaded members 19, 19. The upper and lower runs of the chain 11 are guided in respective channels 10, 10, formed on the frame. The latter is provided in sections which may vary in length according to the degree of curvature required for the conveyer (Fig. 1, not shown). The channels 10, 10 may project slightly at each end of the frame, as shown at 10a. The scrapers 15 may be detached from the chain 11 by removing the members 19, 19 and turning the scraper as shown in dot-dash lines (Fig. 7). Scrapers 21 are carried by the chain 11 to prevent clogging.
