[Also in Division F2] A groove 6 is provided in the drum of a driving sprocket for an oval-link chain having links 4, 5. The groove has a depth below the links 5 of a magnitude equal to three times the thickness of the link material, and is designed to accommodate debris &c. which is then removed by a deflector member 11.
