Class 39(4) The nuclear reactor fuel plate 1, Figs. 1 and 4 is formed of a slot of fissile material sheathed in beryllium which is extended to form tabs 3, 4. The plates 1 are mounted between side walls 2 at an angle to the vertical are spaced to permit the flow of coolant. The tabs fit into slots 8 in the walls 2.
