894,993. Ladders. SLINGSBY, Ltd., H. C, and SLINGSBY, G. Aug. 8, 1958 [Sept. 24, 1957], No. 29936/57. Class 20(2) A ladder has stiles comprising two tubes 1, 2 between which are welded the flattened ends 6 of tubular rings 5. Rubber buffers 3 are fitted to both ends of the tubes 1 and flat hooks 8 are welded to the upper ends of the tubes 2. The lower ends of the tubes 2 are bent to meet the tubes 1. Spacers 7 may be fitted. The rings may be oval and serrated and have flat steps secured to or formed on them.
