Abstract

1343765 Ladder bracket C G BUTTON 19 April 1971 [14 Feb 1970] 7200/70 Heading E1S A bracket for supporting tools &c on a ladder comprises an elongated member cranked intermediate its ends and provided with two U-shaped members 16, 17 facing in opposite directions and arranged in use to embrace the same rung 43 of the ladder, the cranked portion then engaging a ladder stile 44, the remote end of the bracket having a hook 14 or other holding device for articles. In the construction shown, the bracket is made up of four rods bent to the required shape and welded together. In an alternative construction, (Figs. 1-3, not shown), the two rods 12, 13 of the portion between the stiles 44, 45 extend horizontally parallel with each other in a vertical plane and separate U- shaped members 16, 17 are secured thereto. The rods are preferably of plastics-covered steel.
